Kirsten Bruce specialises in healthcare PR.

She has 18 years' consultancy experience, having worked in senior positions for international and local public relations agencies. She has also held in-house communications roles.

Kirsten founded VIVA! Communications in July 2002.

Throughout her career Kirsten has developed and implemented strategic communication programs for many pharmaceutical companies, health professional and patient associations and biotech companies.

She has also launched hundreds of products for the treatment of numerous diseases and conditions, media trained many health professionals, managed countless health-related issues and crises, conducted clinical trial recruitment communication programs for a variety of ethical products and developed health-related websites and digital media solutions.

Kirsten received a prestigious Public Relations Institute of Australia (PRIA) National Golden Target Award and NSW State Award for Excellence (PRIA) in 2008 and 2009 for the medical and consumer launch of a prescription medicine and research relating to a device.

Kirsten has a BA degree majoring in Communications (PR and journalism) and an MA majoring in International Relations and Japanese. She is also a member of the Public Relations Institute of Australia (PRIA) and a Committee member of the Registered Consultancies Group (RCG).
